Yasaka Rakza 7 is one of the most balanced offensive rubbers in the Rakza series and is designed for players seeking a combination of spin, speed, control, and predictable response.
The blade contains a high proportion of natural rubber, which improves ball grip and enables effective rotation generation. With a stronger hit, the surface grips the ball well, allowing players to more precisely control direction and distance even at higher speeds. The top sheet is combined with a Power Sponge, Yasaka’s combination forms the Hybrid Energy system. The medium-hard sponge, at about 45°, provides a good balance between responsiveness and control. Rakza 7 is therefore not an ultra-hard competition rubber, but rather enables a more predictable feel across different types of shots.
For topspin play it offers a lot of rotation and a medium-high trajectory, which helps reliably get the ball over the net. At the same time, it has enough speed to pressure the opponent with stronger attacking shots and counters. It also performs well for serve and short returns, where the grippy surface enables spin generation and more precise ball placement.
Rakza 7 is suitable for both forehand and backhand and is a good choice for players moving from all-round equipment to a more attacking rubber, as well as for experienced players who do not want to sacrifice control for speed.
Available in thicknesses 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, and Max, so a player can tailor the rubber’s characteristics to their playing style.
